Bethel Christian Assembly exists to INSPIRE by glorifying God through transformative worship and Word to nurture a continual, all-encompassing lifestyle of holiness in Jesus Christ. 

IMPART

Bethel Christian Assembly exists to IMPART by accurately teaching God’s Word with honesty, clarity, and love

INFLUENCE

Bethel Christian Assembly exists to INFLUENCE by demonstrating the impact of the Gospel in our lives; illuminating the fruit of the Spirit through our conduct and interactions.

IGNITE

Bethel Christian Assembly exists to IGNITE by equipping and sending out "everyday" Christians into their local mission fields to be a beacon of the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

OUR 12 CORE BELIEFS

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.
  2. We believe that there is only One true God who exists eternally as three distinct, co-equal, co-eternal Persons: The Father, The Son Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe Jesus is God incarnate & died in order to restore humanity's relationship with God.
  4. We believe Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead on the third day and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
  5. We believe salvation is obtained only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
  6. We believe every person who is born again must be baptized by immersion in water representing the death, burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Believer’s baptism & the Lord’s Table are ordinances carried out by the Church as a means of testimony to all people.
  7. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and it is granted to all believers who ask for it.
  8. We believe the Bible teaches a life of holiness ‘without which no man shall see God’.
  9. Jesus Christ is the head of His Church and the Church is His Bride. As a whole, the purpose of the Church is to glorify Christ and fulfill the Great Commission.
  10. We believe in the Rapture, where the Lord Himself will descend from heaven and all who have died in Christ will experience bodily resurrection and those who are alive will be caught up with them together to be with the Lord forever. This is our blessed hope.
  11. We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to establish His physical kingdom on this earth in the millennial reign and will rule the world in perfection bringing peace and the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan.
  12. We also believe in a final judgment when all of humanity will have to stand before Christ, who will judge both the living and the dead. We also look forward to the dawn of a New Heaven and a New Earth, where righteousness will dwell forever.

OUR STORY

Bethel Christian Assembly, also known as Bethel India Pentecostal Church of Arizona, started gathering in January 2007 under the leadership of Pastor Thomas Samuel, united by a shared purpose to make an impact in Arizona for Christ. This group of approximately 20 people came together with a vision: to start a new church for the Indian community in the Phoenix metro area.

From the beginning, we felt called to be a church that was more than just a Sunday service—a church where people can follow Jesus, love one another, journey together in faith, and embody God’s mission every day of the week.

As we gathered and prayed, we dedicated ourselves to serving, blessing, and reaching out to our local community. Along the way, God has brought new faces & transitions in leadership.  What began as a small gathering has flourished into a vibrant church. Now, under the leadership of Pastor Manu Thomas, Bethel Christian Assembly continues to pursue the mission that every person that attends is transformed from within by the Holy Spirit to reflect the character of Jesus. 

As a church, we are fully invested in walking alongside you and your family as we grow together & mature in Christ.
