What Man Rejects God Selects

Service: Sunday Worship

Book: 1 Samuel

Scripture: 1 Samuel 16

Praise the Lord. It is a great honor for me to be with you all this morning. Um just like pastor had mentioned, we had an incredible time uh together in the word yesterday and to see what the Lord has been speaking. I’ve been hearing some uh testimonies of those that were attending yesterday uh even from the young and uh even from the parents. Uh it’s so encouraging to hear that uh the hunger that the people of Arizona have for the word of God. Amen. Uh I can tell you that you know the Lord has been able to open up uh many doors for me to minister uh around the country, around the world. Uh and it’s it’s not common uh what you have here. The hunger is not common everywhere. So I want you to be grateful uh for the community that God has placed you in. And uh please be praying for my family. They’re back at home. They are literally iced in right now. There was a a big snowstorm even last night that came in. Uh so uh they’re stuck there. I may be stuck here. Who knows? Uh we’ll see how if the planes are able to land tomorrow or maybe one of you can open your house and I can just stay with you for the rest of the week. Who knows? Uh but it’s it’s a great honor for me to be with you all. Uh once again, uh if you’re taking notes, I want you to uh write down this main passage of scripture. We’re going to be diving into First Samuel. Uh this type of message is more like a Bible study, a little bit more of an encouraging uh message as well. So So I hope you don’t mind that we’re going to get a little deeper into the word of God. How many love God’s word this morning? Anybody love God’s word this morning? Amen. And so I, like I said yesterday, I believe that the word of God is living. It’s active. It’s breathing. So no matter how many times that you may read the word, there’s always a fresh revelation to gain from it. Amen. And so I want us to open up our hearts and receive from the word of God. So let’s pray. Heavenly Father, we come before you this morning. Lord, we pray that you would open up our hearts. Allow us to receive what you have. Lord, I pray that the words that are uttered from this mouth, let it be inspired by you, God. Not my own words, but let your Holy Spirit use me, Lord. And I pray that the the seeds that are planted uh this morning, it would take root and it would flourish uh into such a great harvest, God. We give you all the glory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Quick, turn with me quickly to 1st Samuel chapter 16. First Samuel chapter 16. We’re all very familiar with this passage of scripture. In fact, I would say, you know, besides Jesus, uh this character is one of the most famous, most talked about uh characters when we read about David, right? And we we hear about all the victories that David has done. We’re very familiar in in Sunday school. were very uh we’re taught the Bible stories of what David did. But I want us to take a little bit of a deep dive into the story because I believe if we’re honest with ourselves this morning, maybe some of us have walked in in here and maybe you felt rejected, maybe you felt isolated and you felt like the Lord has forgotten what he has promised you or what he has spoken to you. But can I tell you that what man rejects, God will select. I’m going to say that again. What man rejects, God will select. So, it’s my prayer this morning that maybe you that if you’ve come in here disappointed, if you’ve come in here with a broken heart, I’m praying that this word of God would strengthen your faith and you would walk out here encouraged with your head held high, knowing that he that began a good work is faithful and able to complete it. Amen. So, as we read in 1 Samuel chapter 16, we’re very familiar with this passage of scripture. The prophet Samuel comes to the house of Jesse to anoint the next king. And so let’s pick up in verse 10. In the same way, all seven of Jesse’s sons were presented to Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen any one of these.” Then Samuel asked, “Are these all the sons that you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse replied. But he’s out in the field watching the sheeps and the goats. Send for him at once, Samuel said. We will not sit down to eat until he arrives. So Jesse sent for him. The Bible describes him as he was dark and handsome with beautiful eyes. And the Lord said, “This is the one. Anoint him.” This uh version says he sent brought him in and now he was ready with a withdrawal of a beautiful countenance and godly to look at and the Lord said arise anoint him for this is he. So a little bit of context in this. We see that Samuel has come to the house of Jesse to anoint the next king. And when he approaches Jesse bring your sons. One of them is selected to become king. Notice how Jesse brings all of the other sons except David. So in Jesse’s eyes, the sons that he’s bringing in front of Samuel to Jesse are the most qualified. Maybe they’re the most experienced in warfare. Maybe they’ve gotten um a 4.0 GPA in college and the smartest people. And so all of these man-made qualifications Jesse’s bringing and thinking to himself, surely one of these seven sons of mine is going to be anointed king. But as Samuel is going from one man to another man to another man, the Lord is rejecting each and every person. And what is the question that Jesse asked? Do you have any other sons? And the way Jesse responds is saying, “Yes, there is still the youngest.” In this context, the in the original language when we read, the youngest is referred to in Hebrew as the least of these. There was still the least of these, but he’s in the pasture. The significance of this is in ancient Israel, shepherds were considered ceremonially unclean. They could not participate in the temple worship regularly because of their constant contact with animals. So think about this. Jesse’s knowing that he does have another son, but he kind of kept him in the field. He kind of kept him out of sight, out of mind. Why was this out of all the other sons? Why did Jesse treat David in such a way to kind of go out into the field and just not be even looked at and gave him the most lowliest jobs to take care of sheep to be in the pasture? Think about when David is coming and and he’s been sent for he’s called into to come into Jesse’s house. Think about the the the smell that he must have come in with. He’s not the most cleanest person. He’s coming straight from the pasture. He’s smelling like the sheep, taking care of all the sheep. He’s probably sweaty. He’s probably dirty. And he’s probably dirty. And he’s he’s coming in into Jesse and Jesse’s house. And Samuel says, “This is the one that God has anointed.” I’m going to show you something in scripture that you probably have never seen before. Quickly turn with me to Psalms 51:5. Psalms chapter 51 verse 5. It says this, “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.” What’s the significance of this? Listen to what I’m about to say. David is saying, “I was shaped iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Many Jewish historians and theologians believe that the reason why David has wrote this further validates this theory that David was an illegitimate legitimate child. Meaning that Jesse had an affair with a a an African woman. And the reason why the Bible describes when David walks in that he was dark. Why did the bi Bible describe his appearance as dark is to further give us some insight knowing that he did not look like the other brothers? So it further kind of supports this theory that the reason why Jesse sent for David into the field was so that Jesse was not reminded of his sinful consequence in the house. So what Jesse decided to do is if I can send this illegitimate son into the field as far away, I won’t have to face the consequences of my sin. Out of sight, out of mind. And so David is sent out here. And I want us to understand, like I said before, that even though Jesse had rejected him, God knew where David was at. And when Jess when when Samuel came to anoint the next king, even though Jesse did not invite David, God knew David needs to come into the ceremony. And think about as David is coming in from the pasture, he’s seeing all of the other brothers and he has no idea what’s going on. And so he’s coming in and say, “Oh, hey, what’s what’s going on? Every all the brothers are here. Okay, what’s going on?” Imagine once he finds out, wait, the prophet Samuel came in here to anoint the next king and my own dad did not even think that I was qualified to become the next king. When you talk about rejection, this is the most painful rejection is from a father. Parents, this is why it’s so important for us to encourage our kids in the Lord daily. Instead of always pointing out all the flaws, all the mistakes, we need to start building some godly character within them. We need to speak life over them and declare to them, you know what? I know you you may have made a mistake, but c can I encourage you that God has a big plan and a big future for your life. We need to encourage them because the the words of the parents will make or break your child. And God doesn’t look for who’s invited. He looks for who’s available. David was not invited initially, but God said, “You know what? I know a man, a boy that’s in the pasture. He’s available. He is the one that is chosen.” And rejection by people does not cancel your selection by God. I want to say that again. Rejection by people does not cancel your selection by God. So let me ask you a question. Whose word whose report are you going to believe? Are you looking for the validation from other people? Or are you more concerned about the promise that God has given you? because it doesn’t matter even if you’re not invited. David was still talked about. This is what I felt in I was going through a certain situation. My my whole family were going through a trying situation last year and we were praying and believing the Lord for some breakthrough. And uh through this situation, you know, I felt like the Lord was talking to both me and my wife to give a sacrificial offering. We need to give a financial gift, a significant offering to to break off this chain of events that have been happening and and it feels like we were getting attacked from left and right, front and back, all over. We’re just getting attacked in his act. And I felt like the Lord saying, “Steve, when you trust me, you will not even realize that I’m the one that’s bringing up your names in rooms that you have no idea about. I’m working behind the scenes even though you don’t see it. I am bringing up your name in rooms that you have never even walked into. And after I gave the sacrificial gift, the next day I got calls from three different large organizations and large churches that I that I had no, you know, uh personal connection with as far as like letting them know about what I did. And they were asking me about my services and wanting to hire me. And can I tell you that we don’t have to promote ourselves. God is the ultimate promoter. God is God I’m telling you God is able to bring your your name in remembrance for people that you never even thought that knew you existed. And to hear whenever David is here, David has to understand, okay, you know what? I may have been put out in the pasture, but God has selected me for such a time as this. 1st Samuel chapter 17. Let’s quickly go to 17 to18. 1st Samuel chapter 17 17-18. One day Jesse said to David, “Take this basket of roasted grain and these 10 loaves of bread and carry them quickly to your brothers and give these 10 cuts of cheese to their captain and see how your brothers are getting along and bring back a report on how they are doing.” Let’s give some context now. Now they are on the battlefield and Jesse still doesn’t trust David to go in the battlefield along with his brothers. And Jesse keeps David from going to the battlefield with his brothers. What happens? His brothers are going and fighting and Jesse’s telling David, “I want you to go serve your brothers.” Do you know what I would have said if I was David at that time? Dad, let me remind you, okay? Do you remember there was a prophet Samuel? Prophet Samuel said, “I was anointed to become king.” Okay. Why are you telling me to serve my brothers when my brothers should be serving me? I’m the next king. But this was not David’s response. David’s response was humility and obedience. And so when David decided to listen, young people, listen to me. I know this is not popular teaching, but when David decide to obey his father, he he did not give a an opinion. He did not give an argument. The Bible doesn’t say that they went back and forth to argue about uh who should serve. David simply went and obeyed what his father had commanded. And when he obeyed what God or what his father had commanded, he was in an opportunity of a lifetime in front of Goliath. He would have never been in front of Goliath if he would have never obeyed his father. I’m going to say it like this. Large doors of destiny swing open on the small hinges of obedience. I’m going to say that again. Large doors of destiny swing open on the small hinges of obedience. Young people, I know you think you’re smarter than your parents, but can I encourage you, and I should get a big amen from all the parents for this next thing I’m about to say, okay? God is not looking for your opinion. God is looking for your obedience. It doesn’t matter if you agree with your parents or not. It doesn’t matter if you have a better idea. the the the the response should be, “Okay, dad, mom, okay, whatever the situation is, I’m going to listen and obey.” It’s because of his obedience that he was in front of Goliath. Can I tell you that these small acts of obedience will get you closer and closer to your destiny? Because if you’re not faithful with the little, how can God make you ruler over much? There are some people in this room that you are so frustrated that God has not given you the promises that you know that he has given you and you are you are believing God for some big things and God is in heaven and asking you why would I give you the blessings of the bigger doors if you have yet to even obey the smallest things that I’ve asked you to do. Instead of us getting frustrated, we should examine ourselves and say, “Lord, are there areas in my life? Are there steps in my life that you’ve given me direct d uh directions and I have yet to obey them? Have you given me instructions and because of maybe my my rebellion, I have not followed through with your instruction?” Obedience to small assignments will lead to some big appointments. Oh my goodness. I I I my prayer is Lord, I pray that every step that I take, let it get closer to your will and to your way, Lord. Everything that I do, let it bring glory unto your name. And so, guess what? Maybe the the job that you have right now is not your most preferred job, but if that’s the door that God has opened for you, I want you to be able to say, “Lord, while you have given me this position, while I’m in this field, I’m going to give you the best that I can. And through this opportunity, I know you’re going to make a way where there seems to be no way. The Bible says in Ephesians that we serve a God that is able to exceedingly and abundantly beyond all we could ever ask or imagine. Anybody has read this verse? Amen. We believe that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly beyond all we could ever imagine. But yet, can I ask you, are you doing exceedingly and abundantly in your work ethic at your job? I know no one wants to give an amen for that. We have to ask ourselves, Lord, if I’m believing you for exceedingly and abundantly, I have to give you exceedingly and abundantly in everything that I do. Not just what gets by, but giving you everything. So now that David is delivering food to his brothers because David is obeying his father who forgot him, God is giving a a divine opportunity. And I want to ask you this question. God will never elevate you if you’re not low enough to serve. I’ll say it like this. If you are too big to serve, you are too small to lead. If you feel like, oh, you know, let the cleaning that that’s for somebody else. Let let someone else clean. You’re too small to serve. God will not trust you with even bigger things. 1st Samuel chapter 17, let’s continue reading verse 45 through 47. He’s approaching Goliath now. And David replied to the Philistines, saying, “You come to me with a sword and a spear and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of the heavens armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you’ve defied, defied. Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut your head off. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and the wild animals. And the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people not with the sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle. And he will give you to us. What do we see here? The reason why David showed up in the first place was not to fight Goliath. The reason why he showed up in the first place was to serve his brothers. But because Goliath was there, he showed up and said, “Okay, while I’m here, I might as well face this giant because no one else is willing to face this giant. So since I’m here, I’m going to be faithful.” And and watch this. Why does David all of a sudden have this boldness to go against the giant? It’s because he reminded himself, “Wait, I remember when a a lion was coming after my flock. I defended my flock against a lion. Oh, I remember there was a bear. If I can go defend my flock from a lion and a bear, surely this giant is no match for my God.” Sometimes you have to remind yourself of the small victories that God has given you in the past and say, “Lord, if you have done it then, you are able to do it now.” Because we serve a God that the same yesterday, today, and forever. Can I tell you, is there anything too hard for the God that we serve? Is there any mountain too big? Instead of telling God how big your mountain is, you need to tell your mountain how big your God is. And so when David comes in boldness, what is he doing? He’s reminding himself, okay, you know, you come to me with a sword and a spear, but I’m coming in with you to the with the name of the Lord. I’m coming to you with the name of the Lord. Can I tell you when you have the Lord on your side, you are able to accomplish anything. Whose name are you coming in with? Whose authority are you walking in? Whose boldness are you going in? I want you to see this. that because he was privately in when no one else was looking around the pasture, because he was privately defending his flock, now that it came to a public display, he was able to battle Goliath boldly. What are you doing privately that no one else sees? Because your private practice will become a public performance. If we’re not if we’re not privately preparing, then when we get on the battlefront, then we are going to be defeated very quickly. This is why it’s so important to be so in tune with the the word of God, to hide God’s word on not just because, like I said yesterday, it’s something to do just to check off. It’s to prepare ourselves. Lord, even when no one else is looking around, Lord, I want to prepare myself. You don’t choose your giant, but you choose your response. David did not choose Goliath. That giant was coming. It rains on the just and the unjust. There’s going to be difficult seasons that come to us. Storms may come, but our response should be the same. Our response should be, Lord, I know this this is a difficult storm that I’m going through, but Lord, you are the God that’s able to even walk on the water. Lord, you are the God that’s able to bring calmness to the storm. So Lord, I will not act in fear. I will not act out of just uh anxiety, but Lord, I will proclaim peace be still to the storm. I proclaim victory over this giant. And so when David says, “I will come to you in the name of the Lord,” he is not putting his efforts or his trust in man-made’s ability, but he’s coming in the name of the Lord because he understands that the power that comes with speaking the name of the Lord. The battle belongs to God, but the victory belongs to you. Let me say that again. The battle belongs to the Lord, but the victory belongs to you. Instead of stressing out and worrying, Lord, how am I going to overcome this battle? How am I over going to come this situation? Can I encourage you? Have trust in the Lord. He’s going to work everything out. Stop stressing out about a solution that God already has. Stop stressing about a situation that God already has the answer for. Thank him in advance. Say, “Lord, I don’t know how you’re going to make a way, but Lord, I know who’s going to make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, I don’t know how these doors are going to open, but Lord, I know who’s going to open these doors. Lord, I don’t know how. And it’s not my job to know how, but Lord, it’s my job to trust in you with my whole heart.” Why does the Bible say to trust in the Lord with all your heart? Because there is a possibility that you could trust him with part of your heart, not all of your heart. Why does the Bible specifically say trust in the Lord with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, all your strength? That’s because you could trust him with one part and forget God about the other parts. My encouragement to you this morning or this afternoon is to encourage you to trust in the Lord with everything within you and don’t allow the the the yells of the enemy to be greater than proclaiming the truth of God’s word over your situation. This is a Bible trivia hopefully. I I know that you read your word. I know that you love reading the Bible. So, this should be an easy question. I want to hear your response. How many stones did David choose from the brook? How many stones did he pick up? How many? I hear the right answer. Say it out loud. Five. Okay, great. Beth Christian Assembly reads their word. I like it. Yeah. Five. Five stones, right? Have you ever asked yourself this question? Why did David choose five stones? Did he think that it was going to take God five chances to defeat Goliath? I don’t think that’s the case. You see, in 2 Samuel chapter 21, we read that Goliath comes from a large family. And so the reason why I believe that David chose to pick up five stones was not because he was going to take God five opportunities, but he was the first stone is for Goliath and the other four is for any of his other brothers that decide to show up. I’m going to be well prepared for whatever may come because I’m not only ready for Goliath, I’m ready for his whole family. Can I encourage you? The enemy is coming and he’s just trying to deceive you. And let’s not be so caught up in just what coming ahead of us, but let’s be prepared for what else may come again after that. We have to be prepared for all the schemes, for all the tactics of the enemy. And so what’s so encouraging is that when uh let me write, let me read this. Yes. When David picks up the stones from the brook, it was not just to fight Goliath, but it was to prepare for anything else that were to come ahead. So remember, David takes the slingshot, defeats Goliath, Goliath is dead, and that’s typically where the Sunday school lesson ends, right there. David defeats Goliath, but then it goes a step further. David cuts off the head of Goliath. This is not the part of the Sunday school story that we typically learn. But why does David cut off the head? It’s because in the old times that they would take the head of their largest enemy, they would put it on a spear and they would put it at the highest hill. So that way any opposing armies that tried to come against them, they’ll see, wow, the the the armies of Israel has defeated even Goliath, man, we should not even come. That is has acted as a deterrent. If we’re able to defeat Goliath, is anything too hard for the God that we serve? Okay. So, as you read the story, you’ll see that after he had put the the head of Goliath on the on the spear, he buries the head into the hill where Goliath was defeated. This is another Bible trivia question. Do you know the name of the hill where Goliath was defeated? I’ll give you the answer. Galata. Interesting. Galgata is also the location of another historical event. Can anybody name what other historical event from Galata? Girls, do you do you know what? Where Jesus was crucified. Oh, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. So David defeats Goliath, buries the head into the hill of Galatha and then hundreds of years later Jesus comes and out of all the hills that he decides to die on. He decides to die on the hill of Galatha which shows me what David started, Jesus was able to say it is finished. Can I encourage you? Whatever battle that you’re going through, whatever storm that you’re facing, whatever situation that you’re going through, your job and your ability is just to take the first step. And Jesus is able to say, “It is finished. It is done. Whatever you’re believing for, it is yours in the name of Jesus.” For those that are in here, I believe so strongly in my spirit as I was preparing this that some of us have been feeling rejected and isolated. Can I tell you that isolation, you should change your perspective. You’re not being isolated. Your isolation is an incubation to be prepared for what God has in store for you. I believe it was because David was isolated in the pasture. He was not so easily influenced by other negative people. And imagine if there was some other negative people in the pasture. When the lion came th those negative people probably told David, “Hey, David, there’s a lion coming. Come, hurry. Run away. Run away. Run away. No, because he was all by himself. So, I’m I’m going to defeat this lion. I’m going to defeat this bear. Like I said yesterday, it all depends on your environment. Who are you surrounding yourself with? People that are building up your faith or people that want you to run away in defeat. I don’t know about you, but I want some people that are around me that are pushing me towards my destiny that are pushing me to all that God has for my life. And I want some people to encourage me in the faith. And so what David started, Jesus said, “It is finished.” And then as we continue reading the story of David, we see that David was not a perfect person. In fact, David had committed adultery, murder, went through seasons of brokenness. But if we read in Acts chapter 13, Acts chapter 13 verse 22, David is described as a man after God’s own heart. David is not described by his failures. David is described by his heart. So many times the enemy wants us to be reminded of our failures, of our mistakes, and of our past. But I want you to understand in the Lord’s eyes, the Lord is looking at your heart. Every man will see on the outward, but the Lord looks at the heart. What excuse do you have? I don’t know who what testimony you may have murdered somebody, but even murdering somebody does not disqualify you from God’s will. So many times we think that God calls the qualified, but he doesn’t call the qualified. He will qualify the called. And can I encourage you this morning that you are called? You you might be anointed and feel forgotten. But can I tell you that God is not done writing your story with every head bowed, every eye closed with every head bowed and every eye closed. There may be someone here today and you can hear the enemy calling out your sin, reminding you of the sins that you’ve committed in the past. The enemy knows your sin and calls you by it. But God knows your sin, but yet still calls you by your name. With every head bowed, every eye closed. I wonder who is this message for? Maybe you’ve come in here with your head hung low. Maybe you’re a young person and and this message kind of encouraged you to be bold about your faith instead of worrying about the opinions of others. David was not worried about the opinions of man. He was more concerned with the opinions of the Lord that he served. So with every head bowed, every eye closed, we don’t need a whole worship team on the stage or anything. This is between you and the Lord. If you’ve come in here and you’re honest, you’re saying, “Pastor Steve, I came this morning with some brokenness. I came on the verge of giving up. I came on the verge of feeling so defeated with no one looking around. Are you able just to look at me in my eyes? I just want to know who am I talking to. Thank you, uncle. Thank you. Anybody else? Thank you. Anybody else? Thank you, Auntie. I see you. Thank you. Thank you. Anybody else? Thank you, Auntie. I see you. I see you. Thank you, girls. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Mitchi. Anybody else? Thank you. I see you. Thank you. I see you in the back. Thank you. I see you. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Anybody else? Thank you, God. I’ve counted about 15 to 16 people. Thank you. I see you. Thank you. Anybody else? Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. I want to encourage you right now that the Lord has not forgotten about his promises to you. The Lord has not forgotten about all the plans that he has for your life. Maybe the reason why this morning that I was able to share this message is to remind you that God is a faithful God. God is able to do what he says that he will do. Every promise that comes from God is yes and amen. And you may have come in at the end of yourself and you’re saying, “Pastor Steve, I don’t know what else to do.” Can I tell you that is that is the perfect position for you to be in. Because when you’re at the end of yourself, when you have nothing left to do, that’s the opportunity to give all that you have to God and say, “God, I’ve run out of excuses. I’ve run out of my ability. Lord, the only option is you. Lord, the only answer is you. Lord, the only way to get me out of the situation is if you will make a way.” And can I tell you that God is able to open up every door that no man can shut. And God is able to shut doors that no man can open. God is able to make every stumbling block that the enemy may try to put in your path, instead of being a stumbling stone, it can become a stepping stone to get to the next level that God has for your life. I want to encourage those 16 people that looked up at me. I want to encourage you that God has fought the battle. God has given you the victory. It is time to stop walking with your head held low, but start putting your head high and look to the heels from where does your help come from? Your help comes from God, the maker of heaven and earth. And I’m coming to declare and stir up some faith in somebody that your family will never be the same. Your finances will never be the same. Your health will never be the same. There is somebody that’s believing for some miraculous touches. And I’m here to prophetically let you know that God is on the move. God is going to do some things right now. Listen to what I’m saying right now. Listen to the words that are coming out of my mouth. God is going to do something miraculous in the next 30 days. I don’t know who that is for, but for the next 30 days, watch, believe, pray, fast, and seek the Lord and see how God is going to make a way where there seems to be no way. I normally don’t say these specific things prophetically, but a few months ago, I I felt the stirring in my spirit that God was doing an overnight miracle for someone. And and by God’s grace, a young lady came up to me and said, “Steve, you don’t understand the word that you gave prophetically. I I was seeking for a job for months and I got reject. I don’t know what you’re believing for. I don’t know what you’re going through, but I believe in the next 30 days, someone’s going to see their breakthrough. Someone’s going to see m miracles. Someone’s going to see signs and wonders. And can I tell you, can I encourage you that the same God that was able to help David defeat Goliath is the same God that you serve. The same God that was able to part the Red Sea is the same God that you serve. The same God that was able to resurrect Lazarus from the dead is the same God that you serve. You tell me what situation that you’re going through that’s too hard for the God that we serve. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, Lord, I pray right now that you would stir up such faith, such anointing, such boldness, God, that they will not worry about what other people will think, but they would be more concerned about the opinions of who you say they are. Lord, I pray that they would no longer respond to the whispers of the enemy or the lies that the enemy may speak, but they would respond to who you say that they are. So, Lord, I pray that you would remind them that they are more than an overcomer, God. Lord, I pray that you would remind them that they the head and not the tail. They are above and not below. Lord, they are the lender and not the borrower. Lord, I pray that you would open the floodgates of heaven and pour out such miraculous things over their lives that they have no other explanation other than you, God. So Lord, we will praise you in advance. We thank you in advance that you are going to do something so incredible. So Lord, we will praise you as if it’s already done. We thank you in advance, God. And Lord, we Lord, we come with anticipation for these miracle, signs, and wonders that you are going to do in the next 30 days for these people, God. Lord, we thank you so much that they will not forget who all the glory belongs to. Lord, we give you all the glory. We give you all the honor. And we thank you so much that you are going to do something that only you can do. So Lord, we come before you. And Lord, we prayed that we would walk away here challenged. We’d walk away bold and we would walk away never the same again, God. Lord, we thank you so much for these words. Let these words take root in some people’s hearts and let it flourish. And Lord, I pray that you would return to them a hundfold what the enemy has stolen from them.
