God Hasn’t Forgotten You
God Hasn’t Forgotten You
Scripture: Genesis 8: 1
From the story of Noah to discover how God is faithful even in long seasons of waiting. While Noah and his family were inside the ark surrounded by floodwaters, the Bible says, “God remembered Noah.” This reveals not forgetfulness, but God’s covenant faithfulness in action.
God Hasn’t Forgotten You !!
The Lord has given me a word today. I will quickly turn to Genesis chapter 8, verse 1. “…and God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark…” This morning,
God arranged the opportunity for me to come to this church. During prayer, this was the verse the Lord gave me. From this verse, what I want to speak about today is: A God Who Remembers Us.
I repeat once again: there is a God who remembers you and me.
When many people forget us, when many ignore us, when many reject us, let me tell you today—there is a God who remembers you. How many of you can say to the Lord, “You are the God who remembers me”?
God did not remember those who were outside the ark. He remembered those who were inside the ark. There is a God in heaven who remembers you and me who are in the Ark, Jesus Christ.
the who are in There was a poor brother, his wife, and their seven-year-old child. They were very poor.Since they had no house, they took out a loan, built a house, and were living there. Then the wife passed away.
The husband and the child were left alone. While they were living like that, a notice came from the bank saying that if the loan was not paid off immediately, their house would be seized.
comes from the bank you have to Please pay close attention. That sister went into her room and began to pray. Her tears fell upon the paper and soaked it.
with Today I want to tell all God’s children: the God of heaven cannot overlook the tears of someone who weeps before Him.
I repeat again: Heaven cannot ignore the tears of one who cries before God.While she was praying, her seven-year-old son was outside playing. At that moment, he noticed a butterfly.
The butterfly flew into the house. The little boy followed the butterfly into the house.butterflyThe butterfly hid inside a cupboard.and
The boy tapped his mother on the shoulder while she was crying and praying and said, “Mom, a butterfly has gone into the cupboard. Please catch it for me.”
The mother stopped praying and got up.”Where did the butterfly go?”The boy pointed to the cupboard. As the woman searched for the butterfly, some papers fell from the cupboard onto the floor. She picked them up and looked at them. They were the loan settlement papers showing that her husband had completely paid off and closed the loan while he was still alive.
she look sheToday I want to tell God’s children:God can even use a butterfly to accomplish His work.I say it again:God can use even a butterfly to accomplish His work.God remembered Noah and his family who were in the ark.
There is a God who remembers you and me who are in the Ark, Jesus Christ. We can confidently say, “There is a God who remembers me.”
A mother may forget her child, but the Lord says, “I will never forget you.” Today the message is this: Child of God who serves the Lord, He is not a God who forgets you; rather, He is a God who remembers you.
God did not remember those who were outside. He remembered the one who was inside the ark. God remembered them. Even after it had rained for forty days and forty nights and the earth was filled with water, the God of heaven remembered those who were in the ark. He is a God who remembers you, me, and every one of your difficult situations.
How many of us…We do not know what to do.We do not know where we will find rest.We do not know where all of this will end.Today I want to tell God’s people:To those who are burdened because they do not know how things will end, the message of the Spirit is this:
God is the One who gives you rest.God is the One who establishes you.He is not a God who abandons you. After that, God caused a great wind to blow. Some winds that blow in our lives are not for our destruction, but for our good.
How many can believe and say, “Some storms in my life have come to make me better, not to destroy me.”comes by to bless me and destroy me
Some things happen in life for the sake of blessing.I will not take time to read the passage. When the people of Israel had to cross the Red Sea, the Lord caused a mighty wind to blow there.
The verse I mentioned is found in Exodus 14:21.God caused a great wind to blow there. As Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, the Lord divided the Red Sea into two.
Today let me declare this:Some winds are not sent to destroy you; they are sent to prepare a path through the depths. Some winds are not meant to break you; they are meant to make a way where there seems to be none.
Because the wind blew, a pathway was formed through the sea, and the people crossed over to the other side. Not every storm comes to destroy. Some storms come so that God’s works may be revealed.
When we read Numbers 11:31,God caused a wind to blow. The quail from the sea were brought near the camp of the Israelites so that they could easily catch them.
big so all Some winds are sent to bless us, while some winds are sent to bring us back. When God sent Jonah to Nineveh, instead of going to Nineveh, he boarded a ship headed for Tarshish.
He went down into the lowest part of the ship and lay there sleeping comfortably. The one who walks contrary to God’s will ends up in the bottom of the ship. Then God caused a great wind to blow upon the sea.
It was a storm meant to bring Jonah back.It was a storm sent to drive him back into God’s will. The sailors became terrified and threw everything overboard.
Completely unaware of all this, Jonah continued sleeping in the lowest part of the ship. They woke him up and asked,
“Where are you from?Where are you going? What is your name?”When they questioned him, he replied,”I am a Hebrew. I worship the God who made the sea and the dry land.”
He was a backslider, yet what a powerful testimony he gave.It is difficult to hear God’s corrction while continuing in disobedience. Finally they asked, “What shall we do with you?”
He said,”Throw me into the sea.”The moment he was thrown into the sea, the storm ceased. It was a storm meant to bring him back.I am reminded that while the ark was floating upon the waters, the Lord caused a wind to blow.
In the next verse we read that as the wind blew, the waters gradually began to recede.now the next verse we read that was flowing the water began to naturally
We all desire to receive an immediate answer as soon as we pray.Even before saying “Amen,” we expect the answer.
There is an answer to prayer. My daughter has been here for two years.andWe were poor servants of God.We did not have the financial means to send our children to English-medium schools.
Praise the Lord, our children studied in Malayalam-medium schools.I personally taught them and helped them study. On the day before an important examination, beginning at seven o’clock in the morning, we drank only water.
From that time until the results were announced, we drank only water. We lay on the floor and prayed for our child’s success. We separated ourselves for prayer. We sanctified ourselves before God.We had no other agenda.
We simply prayed for our child’s breakthrough.Someone asked me,”What exactly did you do?”
I replied,”If we have been praying from seven in the morning without even drinking water, then if there is such a day, you will surely succeed.”pr”If there is such a day, you will pass.”
you will get though this if there is a day like thisLater another phone call came. There was only crying. No words.Just crying.”What happened? What happened?Tell me what happened.”Today I tell God’s people:
If you fall on your face and pray for your situation, heaven will answer your situation. How many believe this today? The one who kneels before God will not fall. The one who prays will not fall.
It is the one who stands in pride who falls. That is the God who remembers us.If, during these forty-two years of ministry, the Lord had not remembered our generation, who else would have?
As the waters gradually receded,we read in the fourth verse that the ark came to rest upon the mountains of Ararat. When the world says your ark will never come to rest,
when your family says it,when others around you say it,let me tell you by the Spirit of God:He is the God who gives us rest.Believe this.He is the God who gives rest to both you and me.He is not a God who leaves us shaken.
He is the God who establishes us firmly. If we value God’s Word above the words of people, the Lord will surely establish us.to the word of the lord in the word of the lord will bring us to rest
Noah and his family entered the ark.Along with them were the animals, livestock, creeping things, the clean and the unclean animals, by sevens and by pairs.family and all those who all
There were elephants. There were bears. There were foxes. There were chickens. All of them were inside the ark.Yet there, the fox did not jump upon the chicken. The animals did not fight one another.
Today, while ministering in this church, let me repeat something once again. When testimony time is given in our churches, everyone wants to testify. From one end of the church to the other, everyone has a testimony to share.
Once, a mother-in-law stood up to testify by singing a song. She sang,”I am living a joyful life, yet this enemy opposes me.”am leading life of joy…Who was the enemy? Her daughter-in-law!
The mother-in-law looked directly at her daughter-in-law while singing,”I am living a joyful life, yet the enemy opposes me.”That is how things are back home in Kerala.
Would the daughter-in-law remain silent? She also stood up to testify by singing. She sang,
“Do you have oil in your lamp? Are you ready?” are you ready… This is what we call our spirituality.
Where does all the fighting happen? In church meetings. Yet inside Noah’s family, even with all those animals together, there was not a single fight. Let me conclude quickly.
Praise the Lord. After many days, Noah opened the door of the ark. The One who closed it was God, but the one who opened it was Noah. God who closed it but it is no Today let me tell God’s people:
If someone has shut your door, God is faithful to open it. If any door has been closed in your life, today I declare that God is the One who opens doors. The door was opened. open Noah came outside.
outside He offered worship. When God smelled the pleasing aroma of that worship, God declared certain things. Can we read that verse? Yes. When true worship was revealed, the Lord made a decision.
“I will never again destroy the earth with a flood.” The truth is this: When genuine worship is revealed, God closes certain doors of judgment. How many understand this? When true worship rises before God,
He closes certain doors of judgment. if there is a real worship… The next thing written is this: “I will never again destroy every living creature.” every living… Seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, day and night,
shall never cease. and It was when worship was revealed that the Lord made this decision. Truly, when worship is revealed, God begins to do what He desires to do in our lives. I conclude my words with this:
There is a God who remembers you and me. How many can say, “There is a God who remembers me.” There is a God who remembers you. May the Lord help everyone who has heard this Word to trust in Him, surrender to Him,
and serve Him faithfully. I conclude by expressing my gratitude to the servant of God, his family, and this loving church for giving me this opportunity.
May the Lord bless us all
