The God Who Remembers Us
The God Who Remembers Us
Scripture: Psalms 136:23
Praise the Lord. I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Savior, all the pastors and all the blessed believers. We were able to uh enjoy the presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment we entered here. We listened to a blessed psalms read by the servant of God. We were able to sing with the blessed choir. The Lord blessed us, enabled us to uh dedicate one of our younger generations today. This is all pointing to the fact that our Lord loves us. The Lord, Hallelujah, Lord’s glory should never end because we don’t deserve this. We are not here because of any of our qualifications. Thousands have been departed from this earth in this past week due to many trouble. And many people are worrying and in trouble thinking and worrying about their generations. God blessed us one more day on the face of this earth. This 2026 March 8, we are here. We have the table of the Lord before us. Let us be in the presence of God with a prayer. Let us be here with a prayer that the Lord please bless us. Let us surrender our hearts with the prayer that Lord speak to me today. I won’t take much time. I will only take a short time. But I plead with you that I want your full attention today. When I was in Rajasthan, when I go to Kerala, I will reserve my ticket. But before the train comes, an hour before the train comes, I will be at the railway station. We will enter the compartment and we will take all our luggage and push it down under our seats and we will wait there before our departure point or our the point of uh where we destination comes. So we are ready to bring out our luggage and everything at the door of the compartment. Many times we are happy to come here but after the service we are in a hurry to leave. Let us be with a a a concentrated heart today. for I’m going to read with a verse uh the Lord spoke to me because I was in the midst of some trouble last week. The Lord’s word is what comforts us in every situation in our life. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Doesn’t matter what the trouble we are facing or if we are facing problems from others. But if we kneel down before the Lord, the Lord will speak to us his word and comfort us. Psalms 136:23 The God Who Remembers Us in our humiliation. Our loved ones, our parents, our brothers and sisters, they may all flee from us when we face humiliation. But there is a Lord God who will always stand with us whatever we face. for the Lord God is a God who saw Natan under the fig tree. Our brothers and sisters may flee from us when we face humiliation, but the Lord God will never do that. He will instead come and bless us. I am speaking to you from my experience when I’m sharing from this word. Our loved ones may stand with us right now, but they we are not sure about their response tomorrow. But the Lord God never changes, but he will always stand with us. Hallelujah. for in Job’s good times. Everybody around the land and in his family were surrounded by around him and they all loved him and they were all with him. However, when he was humiliated and he was persecuted and he lost everything, there was only God who stood with him. My dear one, there is a God who stands with us in our humiliation. Do not fear. Do not fear if people walk away from you. The one who shall never leave you will always be by your side. When Job’s friends come, they think that he was just acting like a pious man. He lost everything and he suffering. He’s not going to ever come back. But the Lord God stood there with him. for once a servant of God advised me mama do not uh take revenge on somebody who hurt you if you do something against that person the Lord will not do anything there however if you forgive and you pray the Lord will do his action. So I took up this Bible in 1986. From that time onwards to this day it is only the Lord who has led me up to I don’t have anything to boast about myself. As I said one time my father was a man with labor. And 15 years of age, I also want to pick up burden. I never thought I will reach into this point. When we would pick up a rocks, my father will come and run to me and he would always take a a a rock of a less weight and put it on me. My father knew how much I could lift. My father was always scared that somebody might put a heavy rock on me. If the fathers of this earth has so much concern about us, how much more will our Lord have concern over us? only that what we can bear he will give it to us. His book has that note that how much pain I can bear. There is a Lord who shall not forsake us or whatever whomever forsakes us. Some others watch us from far away. They they were breaking bread with us. One point they were sharing with us at our table. Now when we hit a hard time, they are far away. And like Miriam watching over Moses, they might be watching us from far away. There is a Lord God who senses the angel that the same palace where the predicament came, the murderous edict came, the same salvation also comes from the same palace. Today morning, it is not mama who is preaching to you. It is the Holy Spirit of God that is preaching to you. But then there are others who walk with us but at the right time they will wash their hands off us and they will walk away. Oh, I was walking until this point. Now I don’t know what happened to this person. See, I have nothing to do with this. He is in your hands. Do whatever you want to do with him. Whom with whom are we now? There is a Lord who remembers us in our humiliation. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There is a Lord who shows mercy for us. Apostle Paul is praying before God for his infirmity. But Lord speaks to him, my grace is sufficient for you. Today God’s grace is enough to support you in your trouble. My God’s grace is enough to uphold you in your trouble. It will be fulfilled in your weakness. It will be perfected in your weakness. God’s grace will stay with us in our grief. Hallelujah. So let us be submissive under his hands so that we’ll be raised at the right time. 1137 Psalms. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the garbage pile. So let us be surrendering ourselves before that great God. Our Lord came down this earth so that we won’t go down into the pit. Our Lord Christ knew that others will forsake us. So even before we were born, he came down to this earth then went upon the cross so that we won’t go down into the pit. Isaiah 53:4 says like this, “He took up our sickness. He himself bore our sickness and carried our pains. But we in turn regard him regarded him stricken. But he was pierced because of our transgressions. Crushed because of our iniquities. Punishment for our peace was on him. Hallelujah. He did not open his mouth like a lamb, yet like a ship, silent before sharers. He did not open his mouth like a lamb. He was taken away because of oppression and judgment. That is because he remembered us in our humiliation. Even before we were born, our Lord came and took up our our our sins upon him. Let me tell you one truth my dear ones. Whomever tries they won’t be able to destroy you because that is the Lord God who has raised you up. So let us be surrendering ourselves before him. He he went through severe pain for our sake. He started praying for us. His perspiration fell on the ground like blood drops for each one of us. Hallelujah. So that we won’t go down into the pit. Isaiah 50 verse 6 says like this. I gave my back to those who beat me and my cheeks to those who tore out my beard. I do not hide my face from scone and spitting. Today the table of the Lord is before us. This speaks one thing to us that our Lord God who died for us on the cross is not yet back. grains of wheat was taken to the mill. It was crushed to make this bread. And now when we break this bread, same way our Lord God got broken on the cross, there is nothing more than this for him to give us. If anybody here is going through pain like me, let me exalt you that our Lord God is with us, who will deliver us from it? He became so uh torn and uh torn apart for our sake. Isaiah 534 says his face was broken. 52:14 says His appearance was so disfigured that he did not look like a man. His form did not resemble a human being. In the book of Matthew, we read that they spat on his face. They pulled out his beard. If he had said a word, everybody would have been destroyed. But he suffered each and everything for us on the cross for you and for me. No, because our Lord knew that there will be a group of people who are rejected by everybody who needs my help. He became a sacrifice on that cross for our sake. So today we are not alone but our Lord is with us. There is a Lord that remembers us in our humiliation. himself. In the book of Matthew, we read that they made a crown of thorns and beat it upon his head and then he gave a staff into his hand. There should have been a crown of gold on his head. Instead, they gave him a crown of thorns. And blood started flowing down from his head. That cross is now soaked with his blood. And that blood became our salvation today. And that cross which was a cursed thing became a blessing for our sake. Psalms 22:11 says like this, “Do not be far from me because distress is near and there is no one to help. Oh many bulls surround me, strong ones of bashion encircle me. They open their mouths against me. Lions are mauling and roaring. I am poured out like water and all my bones are disjointed. My heart is like wax and it is melting within me. David is prophesying what his Christ is going to suffer in Psalms 22 many years before Jesus birth. When we meditate on all this pain, our problems are nothing before it. It was each one of us who should have been gone through this trouble. Instead of that, the Lord took it upon himself. Oh, I am so uh I’m so broken. My tongue sticks to the roof sticks to the roof of my mouth. You put me into the dust of death. Dogs have surrounded me. Gang of evildoers has crossed in on me. They pierce my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones. People look and stare at me. They divided my garments. and they cast lots for my clothing. My dear ones, this Psalms today teaches us for our sake there was a savior who hung on the cross. Let us summit ourselves before we enter into the table of the Lord. When we stretch forth our hands onto this table, let us have this prayer in our heart. Lord, you became sacrifice for me. Wash my sins. I ask your forgiveness for all my sins. When we conclude my words, the Lord who remembered us in our humiliation, he is with each one of us. He has answer for every problem that we are facing. If you go to an ortho only you will have a pro solution for your bones. If you go to the eye doctor only your eyes will be checked. However, if we kneel down before our Lord, every answer is in this word. It doesn’t matter what the problem we are going through. If it is our carrier problem, if it is our children’s problem, if it is illness or whatever it is, there is answer for everything because our Lord is the God Who Remembers Us in our humiliation. May the Lord bless us with these words. I express my gratitude to you all. Praise the Lord.
