Why Jesus Came Into the World

Today’s my message is why Jesus came into this world as a Christian average Christian they tell Jesus came to save sinners Jesus came to die for sinners Jesus came to deliver sinners no doubt Bible is very clear he came there’s only one reason average Christian tells you ask anyone why did Jesus come into the world they give only they give only one answer He came to save sinners or he came to die. So today we will learn few more things why Jesus had come into the world. So before that let us see something about Jesus which I have gone through and I have written somewhere in my diary long back when I heard this. It says about Jesus, the greatest man in the history of the world. That is Jesus had no servants yet they called him master. He had no servants but Bible says yet they called him masters. He had no degree yet they called him teacher. He had no medicine yet they called him healer. He had no army yet they called him and yet king feared him. Kings feared him. He had no military. He he has he won no military battles yet he conquered the whole world. He did not live in a castle or in a palaces. Yet they called him Lord. He ruled no nations, yet they called him King. He committed no crime, yet they crucified him. He was buried in a tomb yet lives today. He is his kingdom is in is not in the world yet he lies within the yet it lies in within the hearts of those who believe. He spoke of love and forgiveness and his words have transformed millions. He offers no material wealth yet consider him the treasure of our lives. He promise promises no earthly power, yet in his name the powerless have found strength. Though he left no written words, his message has filled countless pages. In his weakness, we find our strength. In his suffering, our salvation. Jesus the greatest man in the history of the world. He invites us into stay and you know in our lives. If if you believe this things shall we say hallelujah only this much. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. So long back I just read this somewhere in the book and I thought of just sharing brother Manu. Thank you. So I said as I said I have a little more time. Uh pastor Manu has given me a little time. Definitely I will utilize uh my time in the right time. Uh there is one proverb in English it says uh when you go for a meeting when you share anything in the world the word of God it says stand up speak out shut up. So so this is what I’m going to do already I stood up I’m speaking now after some time I’ll shut up. Okay. So today’s my message why Jesus came into the world. So there are seven points. I’ll I’ll very quickly you know finish it because the word seven in the Bible is very very famous. You go to Genesis chapter 1 it says in six days God created the whole world on seventh day he rested. In can 10 commandments you know God said six days you can work but on seventh day you should take rest. your servants, your male servants, maid servants, nobody should work. Then we have one man by name called Naman. He was a man of leprosy. And Elijah said, “You go and dip into the river Jordan for seven time.” He was very angry. We have many rivers in our country. And one man said, “What what hard did he say?” But um ultimately Bible says he went and he took the deep anil and brother Anil. So therefore he was healed because the river Jordan has a very famous and very you know uh preeeminence in the Bible. So therefore you have seven churches in the book of revelation. Seven bold judgments seven seals. So the word seven seven words of Jesus seven time Jesus said I am I am I am I am the way I am the light of the world. So word seven is very famous in the Bible they say the seventh is a number of god because seventh day god rested six is a number of man because on sixth day go man was created. So there is a reason I’m going to share seven points very soon. First of all why Jesus came into the world. Many Christian they take very wrongly you know thing you know Jesus on Christmas day he they eat and drink and do lot of hungama. Okay that is not at all the reason. First of all Bible says Jesus said all the seven times Jesus said with his own mouth yeah I came for this purpose. I came for this purpose. Not somebody decided why Jesus came. Jesus himself said this is the reason I came. Please turn with me Luke’s gospel chapter 532. Luke’s Gospel 5:32. I have not come to call those who are called themselves think righteous. Okay. Yeah. Uh yeah. Once again, can you read me that? Yeah. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. Okay. This is what Jesus said with his own mouth. Once you know Jesus was walking Bible says Levy is another name is called Matthew. He was sitting somewhere in the marketplace. Jesus said follow me. He left everything his table probably all the accounts books probably all the money. Somebody said he left everything. probably he took his his pen to write the book in John into Matthew’s gospel and then Bible says he had a very good feast for Jesus and all the disciples when Jesus was eating with them some people are spoking some Pharisees and scribes your your your master is eating with sinners your master is eating with the you know tax collectors those days tax collectors prostitutes you know they were all considered to be a sinners Then Jesus said, “I have not come to call righteous people. Thank you. I’ll just have it.” So Jesus said, “I have not come uh know call righteous people. I came to call sinners.” So the first reason Jesus said, “I have come.” Every all these seven words you’ll find one word. I have come. I have come. I have come to call sinners not righteous people. Now see what angel said to Joseph. Matthew 1:21. Matthew’s gospel chapter 121. This is you will have a son. The angel of God is telling to Joseph when he was planning to leave her he will you he will she will have a son and you you should call his name Jesus and then he says he will save his people from their sin. So secondly Bible is very very clearly says you know sometime Jesus himself said I have come for this purpose and later or before other people have confirmed for this purpose only he came. So angel of God confirming before Jesus could say that word I have come to call sinners. So angel of God telling Joseph don’t leave your wife or don’t leave Mary. She did not commit any sin. She had a she’s having child with the Holy Spirit. you take her and she will give a birth to a son and you should call his name Jesus and then he says he will because he will save his people from their sin. So Jesus means savior. So first of all we have to remember and even tell other people he came to save us. Those who are sitting here by being you know being in a Christian being born in a Christian families that is not you know that that is not enough the you know to become a children of God. Jesus said you know as many as received him to them he gives the power to become the children of God. So we accept Jesus and secondly you know I you know book of Philippians 2:12 says work out your own salvation. No doubt he saved us. He forgave us. But we should every day work out our own salvation. We have to keep confessing our sins. We have to be peaceful with every brothers and sisters. We should love everyone. There’s one verse it says Hebrews you know 4:12 it says you know maintain peace with all men and holiness without these two no one can see God. when we maintain when we work we should work out our own salvation otherwise Bible says we may not go into the kingdom of God. Judas he was very very good he was very faithful but Bible says he left Jesus Jesus said Judas it would have been better for you if you were not born after accepting the Lord sometimes we may drift away that is the reason the church that is the reason this fellowship that is the reason the listening to the word of God that will help us to stand you know strengthen us second purpose why Jesus came into the world please turn with me it says Matthew 5:17. Every word Jesus spoke by his own mouth. Matthew 5:17. Reason number two why Jesus came into the world. It says, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophet. I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” You know in the Old Testament there are two sections of the Bible. One is law. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy that is considered to be a law. And from you know from Isaiah till Malaki it’s considered to be prophets and in the both law as well as in the prophets there were many things prophesized about Jesus Christ. So Jesus came not to abolish them. Jesus came to fulfill them. In the book of Mikah it says oh oh Bethlehem you may not be your very least but a savior will come from you. If Jesus would have not born in a Bethlehem, I think the you the prophets would have been nullified. So there are many promises you know many many things said about Jesus Christ prophesized about Jesus Christ. So when Jesus was born in Bethlehem things were fulfilled when Jesus was born Bible says you know wise men came from the east Persia Iran. It’s mentioned in the Bible. It’s prophesized in the Bible. And even Bible says when you know when Jesus was born, you know, many people will come with the gifts. So Jesus came not to abolish, he came to fulfill the, you know, law and the prophet. So secondly, you know, we have to remember as a Christians, are we fulfilling our work, our duty as a Christian in the family, in the church? Some people are called to do some work on and Bible says better you remain in the same calling where you are called for. What our right hand can do our left hand cannot do that. You know if I do my signature on the check with my right hand can I do with the same signature with my left hand? No. So therefore wherever God has placed us Bible says you be remain there and try to be faithful. If God has called us a worship leader, keep worshiping the Lord. If God has called us, you know, to serve people, let us, you know, do that. So Jesus came not to abolish the law. He said, I have come to fulfill the law and the prophet. So as a Christians, better we also try to do God’s, you know, uh, fulfill whatever the place God has called us. And thirdly, Bible says Jesus came to serve others, not to be served. Many people you know they think uh you know we have to be served by other people but Bible says Jesus came I came not to serve but you know I came not to be served I came to serve. Please turn with me uh I think Matthew’s gospel chapter 20 28 Matthew’s Gospel chap 2028 Okay, I think after can you take all your Bibles then I will read. Even as the son of man came not to be served but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many. So third reason brother Phillip Jesus came to serve. Why did Jesus say that word Mrs. Jabedi John and James mother came to Jesus with kneeling down requesting saying Lord if you allow if my my both the sons to sit on right and the left hand of your side in heaven in the kingdom of heaven Jesus said what are you asking women you do not know what you’re asking then ultimately you know all the the rest of the disciples they got angry they said and then immediately Jesus said if you wanted to be you I know leader for many you try to be be a servant serve other people and then Jesus said I have come not to be served I came to serve people we know Jesus wash disciples feet just imagine Jesus washing disciples feet and wiping with a towel after Jesus resurrection Bible says they were all sitting near the seashore Jesus Bible says Jesus Jesus took the fish which was you know cooked on a coal hot coal he came and served them master being serving so as a Christian it’s it’s a you know our duty when Jesus my master my savior he came to serve people as a Christian can I sit in one place and order people saying you do this you do this you do this a good leader a good pastor a good servant of God he will do And then he will you know he will teach people in our fellowship he I I always you know whenever there’s a lunch whenever there’s a dinner you know after everybody eats I take the plate I give water to everyone serving is very easy but taking plates after eating is very difficult isn’t so we as a Christian let us serve hereafter by taking Jesus as an example Jesus served he did not put his legs across cross and ordered people to do that that and this. So same thing as all the Christians who are in this bal church you know learn the habit of serving others not only in the church at home everywhere wherever we go not to show people I as I as I said whatever you do do it for the glory of god whatever we do I’m doing for the glory of god many times in our church I sweeped sweeping swabbing everybody after going we take chair and we wind out all the mics and everything. Yes, we have now youth earlier we do I used to do so like that as a as a children of God we serve we don’t expect people to serve us I sometimes feel very happy brother Philillip and family you know you know I have seen some families only I have met him I saw him cleaning everything brother Rajiv and family everything I felt so happy why why not all brothers and sisters you know brother Zach Punan in I Bangalore I used to go to his church brother Manu and uh you know after this church or Before the church they used to clean washrooms every family one week one f one family they say today I am going to clean the bathrooms I’m going to clean the washroom I’m going to you know you know clean the church I’m going to you know clean the chairs are we doing for ourselves no we are doing for the glory of God so Jesus came not to be served Bible says Jesus came to serve other people and fourthly Bible says Jesus came to do the will of God. John’s Gospel chapter 6:38 because of my time I’m just confining my message very shortly. So 638 for I have come down not to do my own will but the will of the father who sent me. Once again I’ll read for I have come down not to do my own will but the will of my father who sent me. So fourthly Jesus came to do God’s will. When he was praying in the garden of Gethsemane he was saying Lord you remove this cup of suffering from me. Nevertheless not my will let your will be done. at the time of his death at the time of agony still he says Lord let your will be done when he was speaking to a women of Samaritan and our Bible says disciples brought the food and they gave to him Jesus said to do my father’s will is my food my food is to do my father’s will John chapter John’s gospel chapter 5 67 you find every time Jesus Jus said I came to do my father’s will. I came not to do my own will. I came to do my father’s will. So you know Jesus fourthly bible says he came to do father’s will not his own will. We have our own will but when we commit ourselves to the father’s will it will be blessing. Yesterday brother pastor Manu we he came to our place and he was telling he was mentioning I have one mentor above me. I have some leader above me. I’m always under him. I heard a servant of God saying though Jesus had a power like God but he was always under the father. He said I came to do my father’s will. He can do anything but always he submitted himself under the father. So we all need some spiritual pastor. We need a spiritual leader. We may have we may have a wisdom. We may have a money. We may have a power but we need some spiritual mentor who should lead us into proper salvation. Our wisdom is not enough. Our knowledge is not enough. Our Bible wisdom is not enough. We need a servant of God. We need a servant of God who can take care of us. We need a a servant of God who can lead us in a proper way doing God’s will. As a Christian, Matthew 7:21 says Jesus said, “Not everyone that calls me Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of God.” We all Christians, we call Lord, Lord, Lord. But Jesus said, “He who does the will of my father, only he will enter into the kingdom of God.” Not everyone who calls me, I also call every day, “Lord, Lord,” many will come and say, “Lord, have I not prophesized in your name? Lord, have I not casted demons in your name? Have I not done wonders in your name? Many Pentecostal church come under that category. We prophesy. We speak in tongues. We do miracles. But Jesus said, “I do not know who you are, man. Oh, I am Simon. I don’t know. I did so many miracles. I don’t know, man. Did you do my will?” So fourth fourth lesson as a children of God we should understand am I doing God’s will. Jesus said I am doing God’s will. I came down not to do my own will. I came to do my father’s will. Fifthly Jesus Bible says Jesus came to proclaim the gospel. Whenever people talk about Christmas they talk they think only you know just going to the church that that day church or eating or drinking but you know these are all the reason Jesus came when I was sitting trying to sit and prepare a message even I was shocked is it really Jesus came for these are all purpose Jesus came to preach the gospel Mark 138 Mark’s gospel verse 38 8. It says, “But he said to them, let us go into the next towns that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come down.” Let me read again. But he said to them, “Let us go into the next towns that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come down. I have come down to preach the gospel. Luke’s gospel chapter 81. Jesus journeyed from one town and village to another preaching and proclaiming the good news of kingdom of God. Jesus came to preach the gospel. Being a master he went and preached the gospel villages he visited you know Judea, Samaria, Decopolis and many main places like Jerusalem. Jesus visited many villages, many towns preaching the gospel. So we can also you know go and visit people and you know share the gospel. I always remember three things I heard when I was a little boy. We can serve the Lord in three ways. PP P first P preach. Whomever we can share the word whatever we heard you preach. Number two pray P R A Y. We can always pray. Jesus said harvest is plenty laborers are few. Pray that God may send the har lab laborers. Brother Dinakaran always used to say you know God has a telephone number you know37. What is that 37? Jeremiah 33 says call unto me I will answer you. Matthew 7:7 says ask and it shall be uh given unto you. So I remember brother Dakaran selling telling in one meeting you have a god’s telephone number you call him always he will answer you37. So pray. One is first preach. Second is pray. Third p a y pay financially. If god has blessed us pay brother I cannot do ministry at least you do this brother. You you use it for the church purpose brother. You use it for evangelism brother. You do it for God’s work brother. So Bible says many women same Luke 1 verse you know what two 2 and 3 women they supported Jesus with their with with their property with their with their substance so we can support our pastor we can support our church financially tell me all the three piece number one preach number two pray number three pay another thing Ttt give Give your time to God. Secondly, secondly, now give your talents to God. And number three, give your treasure to God. Your time. Number two, talent. And number three, treasure. Fifth and sixthly, I’m just going to I’m finishing. And it says fifth uh sixthly, why Jesus came into the world? It says Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost. Luke’s Gospel chapter 19:E 10. For the Son of Man is come to seek and save that which was lost. He came. You see that word again? The son of man has come to seek and save that which was lost. Jesus went to Zakayiah’s house after having lunch or dinner. Immediately Zakaya stood up and said Lord I will give half of my property to the poor people. Whomever I have cheated I little four-fold. Did Jesus say you give your property to poor? Did Jesus say Zakaya you give four-fold whom you cheated? So when there is a presence of God we realize our sins. We need not to wait till somebody comes and tells why did you say like that? Why did you speak like that? Why did you do that? Why did you go there? No. A true spiritual man, a true man of God will understand what he has done wrong and he will say I am sorry. He will he will reconcile. He will settle his life with those people. So he said Lord whatever I have done Lord I’ll give. You know if I have cheated anybody four-fold I’ll give. And ultimately then he said half of my property I’ll give to the poor people. So he Jesus came to seek and save which was law. As a Christian we also should maximum try to confess our sins. Realize if we have done something wrong with our wife or to our children or church member go and say sorry. I’m sorry brother. I’m sorry sister. Go and talk to them. That will ultimately help us. Last and finally Bible says Jesus came to speak the truth. Jesus is speaking to Pilate. Then Pilate said to him, John 18:37. Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king? For this purpose, I was born. For this purpose, I have come into the world to bear truth. I came to speak the truth. Jesus did not follow the traditions. He rebuked the people those who follow traditions. Only one thing can break the word of God. Our tra traditions. So we speak the truth. People may sometimes get hurt but when you speak the truth ultimately somebody said surgery is a little painful but it’s very helpful. Truth is always like a you know surgery. We may cut but later that’ll that’ll be all right. So these are all the six seven reasons Jesus came into the world. So first of all he came to save sinners. Secondly he came to fulfill the law and the prophet and thirdly he came to he came to do father’s will. Fourthly, he came to serve, not to be served. Fifthly, he came to preach the gospel to villages and towns. Sixthly, he came to do father’s will. And seventhly, and finally, he came to speak the truth. So, these are all the purpose. These are all the reasons Jesus came. He was not come only to enjoy on a Christmas day. You know, many people do that. We thank God. But Bible says this is all the reason Jesus came. When we understand our Christian life will grow and we will have a more mature life. Amen. May God bless .
